Our History
The state of Jammu & Kashmir has a population of more than 14 million with 20% living in urban & 80% in rural, far-flung and inaccessible hilly areas. A large number of poor & needy people have limited or zero access to proper Healthcare & Education facilities. Although Government, NGO’s and other voluntary organizations have been trying to contribute in this sector, but still a lot needs to be done. Due to ignorance, insanitary conditions and congested atmosphere they suffer from many diseases. Some even die due to lack of medical care and many other get permanently disabled and thereby resort to begging. What these people need is guidance, education, moral support and financial assistance.
IEI Soibugh started in 1989 in response to youth empowerment and youth and peace. When state of Jammu & Kashmir was burning and youth has in frustration and physically and mentally. The stressed youth become disable and burden to there family. As well as society under the patronage and dynamic leadership of NYK’s of Govt. of India, Budgam sponsors IEI Soibugh, courageous, work of IEI Soibugh got its registration and area of operation.
Our Aim & Objectives
Create secular platform of networks for localized needs of harmony and empowerment involve local people, CBO’s, VO’s and institutions cutting across communities and working and principals of service to humanity.
ISLAMIC EDUCATION INSTITUTE SOIBUGH
To organize and conduct promotional training programmes to equip the members of SHG’s (Self Help Group) & Kissan Group towards capacity building enhancement of their expertise in different directions, particularly Development Handicrafts skill and new latest technology, innovative, productive enterprises, availing of Bank fincance for viable projects, income generating activities, with Marketing of their products and also in social sector covering Educations, Health, Environment, Forest and Natural resources Development and Management.
To mobilize at the time of natural calamities necessary support and inputs, undertake and participate in Disaster management and Rehabilitation Activities.
Our organization main mission is to financially & educationally develop the youths of J&K people and environmentally develop the rural area and urban at least specific area develop as a model environmentally like Switzerland’s for flung villages. So go (Green Kashmir).
